David Carr, PMHNP - BC.

I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I am passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services to adolescents and adults. I have strong clinical skills, enhanced by natural ability to build rapport with clients and families. My practice is grounded in evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuitions.

Some fun facts: besides my love for for reading, watching movies, and all things traveling…

I am a watch (no not the electronic types) enthusiast. I love all the intricacies and details of how a mechanical watch works and how each parts has their own responsibilities and all the hundreds of pieces have to work together to keep track of  time.

I love to golf and I golf as often as my fiancé will let me. It’s a game of patience and you have to know one thing about golf to succeed (which are most things in life), is that you will suck and you will fail, but swings after swings, you will improve.

I was never a dog person, until my fiancé surprised me with a mini golden doodle, Twyla… I have learned that dogs are some of the most joyous creatures that live among us. Long story short, Twyla and I are inseparable.
